At Agida, our main aim is to work within communities face to face, so we build a better neighbourhood we can all benefit from. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we have mostly engaged through an online presence but we hope this will soon change when times are safer. In the meantime please access information below, starting with our leaflet of trusted resources on support available to members of our local community.
Due to the pandemic, Agida’s workshops and engagement at local events are on hold. However, our aim as always, remains to facilitate the development of skill sets, growth of knowledge and positive experiences. To this end, please enjoy this collaboration with Alison Coates from Speaking Solutions - she gives top tips on how to effectively speak out.
We believe getting your voice heard is a key opportunity for communities to come together to build on both unique and shared experiences, whilst also working together to combat any shared difficulties. We are proud to support increased communication within our community, with this ideology underpinning the work we do at Agida. We hope these tips will equip you to come to our next 'Town Meeting' and we look forward to seeing you there! Details of the meeting to be finalised in line with Government pandemic restrictions.
Throughout the Covid19 Pandemic, Agida delivered resilience training in community settings via Zoom. We engaged two knowledgeable practitioners to share a wealth of experience. One of those practitioners, Michala Leyland of 'Wood for the Trees Coaching', completed her workshop by sharing a detailed and well-written 'Mental Wealth Self Care Plan' ebook. This resource explains and expands on the information Michala shared with our audiences.
